 Healing Spirit Herb Farm and Education Center

Andrea and Matthias purchased their farm in 1982. It was 30 acres and a dream come true,  located in the hamlet of Wallace, (Avoca) in the beautiful Finger Lakes of Western New York.  Our farm has woods, a wonderful year round trout stream running through the land, home to heron, fishers, weasels, hawks, deer, bear and coyotes and many other creatures.  Our resident bees are very happy to pollinate our organically certified herbs, and provide us with the best tasting honey, and beautiful beeswax. 

Our goal has always been to live a simple, gentle, fun filled life on the land, raising a family in harmony with all of creation.  We have been blessed to be caretakers of this land for 30 years, raising our five children here, and now two of our grandchildren live on the land with their parents.  We beleive by working the land organically and biodynamically, being in rhythm with the land, we are able to harvest the very finest quality, high energy medicianl herbs. With these herbs we make teas, tinctures (extracts), salves, creams, infused oils, liniment and flower essences.  Being in rhythm with the land, also allows the land to take care of us.

 Solomon Seal growing in a small woodlot by 12 Mile Creek which runs through our farm, next to an area where we do land cermonaries.  There is also Blood Root, Black and Blue Cohosh growing, along with voilets, and 15 colonies of bees to keep eveything humming along.
